Virtual 5K For The State Parks of Tennessee – What's Up Clarksville

Virtual 5K For The State Parks of Tennessee

On May 20, 2020 Tennesseans will be able to take part in a virtual 5k race. So what is a virtual 5k race? It is when you run/walk at your own pace, your own location (treadmill, park, street, etc.) and time yourself.

If this seems like something you would enjoy partaking in, you can register here. Be aware that there is a $20 registration fee. This fee will include a medal and certificate that will be mailed to your home and also a virtual bib which will be emailed.

The race is being held on the 20th to coincide with World Bee Day. With partial proceeds going to the Tennessee State Park Honey Project.

So what happens if you can’t race on May 20th? No problem, the race will last all week. That way you can pick a date and time that works for you. Also, participants will have the whole week to input their time into “It’s Your Race”. To be taken to that link click here.

What a great way to be physically active, take part in social distancing, and be a part of something great.
